Hilinda: I had been teaching negotiation for ten or 15 years. One day i had a group of female pah d students in my office really, really upset. They wanted to know why the male students had been assigned to be teaching classes and they had been assigned as teaching assistance. And so i stormed down to the associate dean's office to confront him about this discrimination. He told me that each of the male phd. Students had come to him to ask to teach a class. That really launched my two decades long career, you know, understanding gendera diferences in negotiation.
