Is NHK a Good News Channel?

Cable is just like a not something that I like my parents care about and I don't like it's like if it's not on Kimmel, then I don't know what's going on. This is also based off of my parents viewing. They only watch network stuff. And like the Japanese news they get is all from the main like NHK, which is like the public national station. So to me, it's not very Asian to have these like little news channels. But because I'm Vietnamese, Vietnamese people love Fox news.
