The Dark Night of the Senses
"To those of you who identify with the dark night of the senses, I would just say keep following Jesus through the dark," he says. "It seems then that we've lost God, but the purpose of the whole experience is rather to reveal to us that God, the Lord we love, is not to be identified with any of these created means." He adds: "Our intellects, imaginations, and our feelings are not God".
