The word robot was developed by a playwright named Carol Chapak in 1921 to check a playwright Rossam's universal robots. In that first depiction of a robot, the robots took over the end of the story. And so we've been entertained by these stories for 100 years. But I think that as much why people are afraid as anything else is we've been sort of taught that this is the logical progression through fiction.
