There's a challenge I've faced. I call it the magnetic concept problem, although I don't know if it has another name. It's when you're trying to explain a concept to someone and they already have a category in their mind that's pretty similar but not correct. We tend to interpret things through our current understanding. Everything is filtered through a zillion, zillion lenses of previous experience. Some of those experiences are going to cause you to have emotional reactions to things. And some of them are just purely, I understood it this way.
