A lot of what we saw in kind of the post 2008 period, where you have all this cheap money is everywhere. There's these companies that are building the Uber for X and they have an app for everything. It's just what can we dream up that someone else hasn't done before? "It's some kind of meta innovation for the meta crisis and the meta economy," he says.
