Is There a Directness Between Behavior Perception and Neural Representation?
i think gibson deserves a revival. I guess quite often we refer to him as kind of the text book gibson, which is the caricature of his ideas. But at least this is like the part i really like about his theorizing. And he showed that the same stimulus can have different actractor states or different neural representations in an indifferent behavior context. That's again, why we need to go away both from tis stimulus as well as this fixed set of neural representation.
