Wellington's a man of contradictions and there's no greater contradiction than his private life. He tried so hard to well twice right to marry after being rejected once. Kitty was quite a kind of needy individual she had fallen quite ill earlier in her life but she worshipped the ground that Wellington walked on. His first two children were born just before he went out Spain and Portugal so he's absent for the first six years of their life now That's obviously not going to help at all you know when he goes back in 1814 these kids have heard the legend they've heard what their mother thinks of the guy.
