The Man Who Healed Me, Take Up Your Bed and Walk
In John chapter five, jesus once again goes up to jerusalem for a feast of the jews. While there he encounters an infirm man near a pool by what is most likely the sheep gate - although it is not explicit in the original text. According to popular belief, those who went in could be healed of their illnesses. Last century, archaeologists excavated what seems to be the pool in question, which has, as the text describes, five colonnades.
