The Cost of Redeployment
When we were pressing to CDs, they were a great way of managing risk. But now it's not about how many barriers you put in front of doing the thing. It's how quickly can you recover after a bad thing happens. That's what improves your quality. And I think moving to cloud with that lower barrier of release has given us room to get it right. We've automated the things we care about and so that release checklist, almost the machine does that. You know, have I realised we need to do this? Okay, cool. Go for it. Yeah. The first attempt on my side is making sure the machines are working properly. Enjoy the rest of the event!
