Introduction
The coveted Palm Dior went to French director Justine Triet for her thriller Anatomy of a Fall. The Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon and the new Todd Haynes movie with Natalie Portman did fare better. There were some especially cringey events this year thanks to the WGA strike back in the US, but it didn't seem to matter at Cannes.
