The IMF's Negative Impacts on Social Services

The IMF seems to be responsible for keeping them in debt and that feels exploitative. Austerity policies are still ongoing but I think they're much more sensitive to the social impacts than they used to be. The IMF addressed some of this in a paper titled, The IMF's Evolving Role with an Acconstant Mandate which had published in March 2023. It describes areas of so-called enhanced focus which now include climate change, gender, inequality and social protection amongst others.
