Kimberly: You're almost in a sense turning every doctor into a clinical trial doctor. We dream of a clinician encounter where there's a patient who's newly diagnosed with hypertension. There is in the electronic health record, a button that can be pushed is this patient safe to try these three active drugs. The data is returned and automated so that a report is generated which pops up in the e-health record. Kimberly: Ken tells you all of the hard work that needs to be done to get to the dream. That is the system that his postdocs and a number of PhD students have been working to develop for us.
