Is the Russian Government Controlling What the Media Says?
LZ Granderson: Black people are weary of the government, but that doesn't mean they can't say something true. He says we have to ask ourselves when we hear something is this something that I or someone else can prove? Can I look it up in a history book? Sure. Can I see it in the online encyclopedia? Is there empirical evidence that can prove this thing? If it is, then I'm probably looking at something that's a fact, right? LZ: Good reporters know that their choice of words is incredibly important and work to be precise and as neutral as possible.
