What's So Interesting About Purity Culture?

Many women, or the women i know, who waited untill marriage, they ended up having very, very like disordered views about sex. They've advised me even that if i could do it again, i wouldn't have waited so long. In the church there's absolutely no sex education. The only sex education is just to abstain. And, you know, decades of being told that sex is dirty, sex is tes sex will change who you are as a person. But what's so interesting about purity culture is that i'm not sure you might have insight into this at all.
