The Discipline of the General Assembly

There is perhaps no greater expression of maintaining the unity and the catholicity of the church than for one congregation to recognize and honor the discipline of another in another place. It can, however, also go the other way too, where a particular, uh, judicatory ends up exercising its discipline in a, in a wrong way, right? Sort of a, a malpractice kind of situation; we are not pestiapillian. We don't believe that any judicatory, including the general assembly has absolute authority over us.
