Aeroflot Sends Aircraft to Iran for Maintenance

At least from the US East Coast, a lot of the, or most of the flights if they're able to, are taking a more southernly route. And I wouldn't be shocked to see that continue at least for the near term or for additional flights if the ash cloud continues rising up into the jet stream. In news that is probably surprising to no one, Aeroflot has sent an aircraft to Iran for maintenance. This is A330-300 registration, new registration, RA-77700. It's in Tehran since the beginning of April now for heavy maintenance on the landing gear.
