The local arborist dropped off wood chips and I've done the bottom of a bed like that with wood chips. It breaks down and what happens is by the next year, it's way sunk down. You have to add more soil. But that's, but it was free for that. Yeah. Even with my really tall raised beds. So I'll do like two and a half foot high raised bed so that the ducks don't fuck everything up. I will put in 12 inches of wood chips like a hoo go basically.
