How Far Is Too Far?

Home Assistant detects what devices are connected to the Wi-Fi at that time. So when I get home, my phone always has its Wi-Fi on. As soon as it joins the network within, you can see lights turning on inside. Do you find that it's too far? Or do you find that you don't really care?
