Tricks Like Forced Perspective

Tricks like forced perspective can create the illusion of a significant difference in size. But it's not necessarily the case that one object or person is significantly larger or smaller than ano. Rather has to do with the distance to the camera and the angle of the shot. A three d version makes this trick harder to pull off, since it requires shooting the scene from two different angles. And so force perspective in three d films is a lot harder to pulling off.
