Apocalyptic Literature, Ezekiel Four

Ezekiel is not trying to prophesy about future events and how they will go down. He's most certainly not laying down a blueprint for how things are going to happen in babylon, or what their return is necessarily going to look like. Apocalyptic literature utilizes symbols and images to convey hope to their present day ezekiel. Ezekiel is also one of my favorite prophets because he gets i think i've spoken before about a some of the prophets engaging in what we might call gorilla theatre,. A little street theatre, planned or unplanned, impromptu.
