How Much Money Do You Need for Your Retirement?
I think the more tricky dilemmas people face is they want their kids to get on the housing ladder and help them with the deposit. But my thinking there is, it's probably best to fit your own oxygen mask first. I don't want to have to support you in your retirement. If you can guarantee me that, it's fine. Spend as much money as you want. And you touched on the question of how much money do you need for your retirement? That's an interesting question and a very difficult one to answer but crucial for all these decisions.
