A lot of the natural builders are like, you know, it's important that a building breathes. When they started putting insulation in the walls in the thirties, the paint would peel. How do you control that moisture? A huge stone building with one foot thick walls will pull out any amount of energy you try to pump into that and rip it right out. So what happens when you insulate more and more and more)? The framing members on the house that are out here on the outside, stark to get colder and colder and colder.
