How to Navigate the World and Navigate a Dominant Culture
I think that sometimes when we're going about our experience and we don't always recognize specifically, oh, I'm navigating this certainly I'll speak from my own experience here. We are trying to navigate the world and navigate a dominant culture and we oftentimes will begin navigating via the method that was set for us by the dominant group. So it's a very tiring thing for anybody who has an experience of otherness to try and move through a space within a dominant group. And in doing so we really begin losing touch with our own selves and what we're needing.
