Chaturhuyuk - A History of the Settlement

The walls of the houses in Chaturhuyuk were adorned and painted with geometric designs and animal figures. The imagery was often violent, wild animals showed bare teeth and aggressive postures. Tepards were a common subject for art but practically no leopard bones had been found at Chatur huyuk. It's hard to know what to make of all this. We can speculate but we'll never know. What's obvious is that the people weren't inventing all of this themselves. Some scholars have suggested that the evidence from ChaturHuyuk points to a world full of taboos and rituals.
