The Monk Chat Program in Chiang Mai
The monk chat program at Wat Zwandok has been going on for the last 20 plus years. It was started because tourists were coming in and they were continually asking questions about what was happening or about Buddhism. The monks know about it from their older peers, tell them about it, their older siblings or family members from other countries to study there. And so it's really important for, it became important for recruitment for the university.
