Is HIV Status Associated With Monkeypox?
There is quite a very strong emerging association between individuals who are testing positive for monkeypox and having a diagnosis or an existing diagnosis of HIV. In the US, 38% of people who have been diagnosed with monkeypox also happen to be people with HIV. We're still trying to sort of understand what is sort of driving this very strong association.
