The Importance of a Commitment to Jijak's Work

Daniel Altschuler: My commitment to Jijak's work necessitated that I take some of his ideas and explore them to the end. And so there's a number of points. The decline of symbolic efficiency implies the decline of the paternal function, which taken to its conclusion implies foreclosure. It means to go to the end, I take it to mean to the end of the fantasy where the fantasy is no longer a screen, but a window upon the real.
