Bitcoin: A Farce
The state doesn't like Bitcoin because the state can't unilaterally extract wealth through it. The vast majority of every criminal transaction that's ever been conducted in the past 100 years has been conducted in US dollars. To try and blame the tool, I think, is just a failure of rationality. You're extracting resources from productive market actors to the extent that you stop stealing from them. So it's a net benefit for humanity in terms of innovation productivity.
