The easiest way for hackers to make money is actually use your account to create a backdoor into the company that you work and then go and sell that access on the dark web. So I've got your username and password, I want the police to come and charge your house, not my house. Same if I have access to your bank accounts, easier for me to sell that bank account or wash money through a bank account. It puts the organization in a pickle because you've got 1,000 hackers now just lasering in on this way to get in. You're valuable in two ways, right? Number one is that they can get into your bank account and they can slowly take money
