John Carmack: We don't quite know what the metaverse is, but we like to talk about it. He says there's a culture shift underway and people are investing more in their digital identity. People shaping and crafting worlds could be legitimately part of the metaverse, he says. And that will impact things like virtual spaces in virtual world platforms such as Fortnite or Roblox for example.
