How to Write a Test That Is Always Green No Matter What the Output Is

A tautology is a test that is always green no matter what the output is. Typically this happens when mocking or specifically if you mock the system under test. The word comes from Scree bath, which is the topic of my real's conf talk. I'm always a little bit skeptical of mocks because I've seen so many either brittle tests or tests that will succeed all the time come out of mocks.
