Odysseus and the Monster

Odysseus offered to feed the cyclops. The giant ate two more ithacans, before rolling a stone back over the opening. Odysseus said that he meant this as an offering to whoever would help them on their way. He still wanted to give a good gift, as was the responsibility of the guest.
