The Importance of Sustainability in Railways
Richard has been involved in this railway for more than 50 years. Together, he and his 800 fellow volunteers have created an evocative heritage line. It's a source of great pride locally, attracting around 100,000 visitors a year. He says Alison's plan puts all that at risk. They want to run an hourly service with half hourly service at peak periods. That would stop us from running our trains altogether.
