June ordered a triple cheeseburger and a large fries and a large coke in. She then asked if it was on me and when I said it was she added a strawberry shake. June ate whatever she wanted to remain thin and mean about the whole thing. Whenever another girl or an older woman that meant anyone passed high school put on a few pounds she would go after them. When we reached the edge of town I stopped at a drive-through that looked like it had changed very little since it opened. The planes were rolling and wide and still dappled with big patches of snow that shot by off the sides of the freeway.
