The Case of Michael Skackel and Martha Moxley
In 2002, a quarter of a century after Martha's death, a judge indicted Michael Skackel for murder. He was originally arraigned in a juvenile court as he had been 15 at the time of the murder. A judge decided that he should now be tried as an adult. By 2000, by 39-year-old balding chubby husband and father,. But he was soon released on a $500,000 bail. The state of Connecticut appointed an investigator and a one-man grand jury in the Moxie case. After 18 months, it was decided that there was, in fact, enough evidence to charge Michael's Skackel with the murder.
