In the early women's movement, one of the ways that we found our agenda was in consciousness raising. And i think there is something in this consciousness raising practice that is in some ways informed by psychonalysis. But it also enters into radical practice as people reflect critically on what they're doing. Some kind of psychonytic ideas have always been there. They've been there in the women's movement. The work of france fanon the kind of algerian olutionary in the 19 sixties as well. So i think the task is to is to look through these psychonytic Ideas and to work out which ideas are operating as ideology,. These ideas that simply tell people
