The Importance of Explicit Sex on Reality TV
This is the most explicit sex I've seen on a Netflix reality TV dating show besides, and I tweeted this, love is why it's season four where they did the same thing to a black couple. And it's really striking to me that the people that they're showing having explicit sex on television are queer and black. Like there's just something a little off about the execution that I don't sit very well with. It ends up kind of failing on both in that it doesn't go like whole hog on mess or try to really delve into anything that's happening in the world.
