Charlotte place remembers her final glimpses of the old west end. The land was sold at a bargain to a developer who also happened to be a former campaign organizer for the mayor. Within just a few years, this developer built a luxury apartment building called charles river park with multiple parkin garages, two in pools, a hotel and 23 hundred high end units. By the summer of 19 60, everyone had moved out and the neighborhood was raised.
