Brandon McMillan is a field behaviorist, and thus a synologist. He grew up in the circus; his parents were both wild animal trainers. So he never read a book on animals my entire life. In 1848 W.N. Hutchinson published a book called "Dog breaking," which was known for its catchphrase: command, jerk, praise. And I unearthed this 1946 YouTube time capsule called training you to train your dog.
