The Different Types of Party Lists in New Zealand

In New Zealand, they elect about 65 of their 120 members parliament in local single-seat districts. And then they elect the rest from party lists. They use what's called mixed-member proportional and it ensures that overall nationwide the parties are represented quite close to perfect proportionality. So by list system we mean that parties present lists of candidates.
