The Impersonal Bureaucratic State
I love that you highlighted how he kind of ridicules and denudes the whole, all the trappings of office as a kind of impersonal bureaucratic thing. So it's just like the office, like the space where he works, which kind of, which is perfect. The idea that there could be any separation between him and the position that he's occupying is totally anathema to Trump. He does it not at a cognitive level. I mean, for him, it was almost, it's just a, it's a part of who he is, right? It's clearly, this is a reactionary kind of move. But it's also an occasion to think through those issues.
