The Life of Jesus Is Manifested in Our Body
The apostle Paul is describing what happens throughout the course of life, even for people who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. He says that we are afflicted and perplexed at times; persecuted and struck down. But he's saying we have a resource now that makes us indestructible in all of those scenarios. Why? Well, as he says in the second half of verse 10, the life of Jesus is manifested in our bodies. And friends, that fact is a confidence we have to set our minds on when we come to these difficult circumstances in life.
