The Importance of Dark Matter

The discovery of dark matter was complicated. It didn't go from point A to point B quickly in a straight line. We still don't know what dark matter really is. There's still tons of mysteries associated with dark energy. But I think that it is an important discovery that got the Nobel, just because you're working on it doesn't mean you should get one.
