The Order of the Mind

Pascal wants the reader to no longer be self-deceived he says. He argues that Christianity appeals to us because it has an answer to our finitude saying that we can live forever enter into eternity. Pascal was one of the greatest minds of his generation of his century but what Pascal wants to do here is look at two positions of rationality which were popular at the time and Rimeon popular today.
