Withered Bouths Get Broken Off

In verse 11, we go back to the vineyard metaphor. When the boughs thereof are withered they shall be broken off. The women come and set them on fire. If you'll get rid of them, make them like chalk stones, then all will be well. But for those that are not turning back to god, there's no chance. His mercy cannot rob his justice, and so there cannot be favor or mercy there. So it ends up happening. These withered boughs get broken off, and now all they are good for is firewood.
