The term middle class is an absurd construct that works on the outside of workplace organizing to level the idea of that raw middle class, which is just about to shit. And then inside of a worker campaign, it serves as a really useful weapon that the boss employes against the workers. There's the role of the polsters in the united states, though i never have very kind words for it. If you're listening, it's an institutional problem that the polsters have invaded. Not just the democratic party, of course, but they've also the very same polsters often pollute the discussion in most of the national unions.
