I suggest people writing it in the voice of someone you love very much. I actually do this with some leaders who almost are in a way afraid of that. The obituary or eulogy exercise can be pretty powerful because it's not necessarily all true yet. When you write it down, it makes it real. It's like this thing's going to happen. Make these things happen on the way there.
