How to Bypass IP Based Rate Limitation
There is a way to bypass ip based rate limiting so what attackers do now is they're aware of you know aws has this service called api gateway. Every http request now is a different ip so all of the requests are coming from the aws ip range but each one is a different ip and it just no longer works in the logs. The code for the agent is open source so you can inspect it yourself, i also wrote a blog post about plug attack which is a really fantastic library I recommend using it if you maybe don't have the budget for prac seal or something like that.
