The Lord God's Perspective on Exile
In Jeremiah chapter 29, God tells Israel's exiles to build houses and plant gardens. He also says they should pray for the city where they are living in exile. Daniel did exactly what Jeremiah told him to do when he was sent out of Jerusalem into Babylon.
